Over the years, Patty has built her profession in financial planning and asset management by utilizing her experiences in the teaching, banking, insurance and investment industries. She is a member of Ada Chamber of Commerce, Financial Planning Association, Financial Services Institution and donates time and resources to local groups supporting churches, schools as well as national and international charities. A nationally recognized seminar speaker and teacher, she has spoken at many women’s conferences at churches across Oklahoma and at local school career functions. She has been an adjunct speaker at the annual National Conference held by her broker-dealer.
Graduate of West Texas State University, Canyon, TX with teaching degree in secondary education, English and History concentrations, and certification in Language and Learning Disabilities.
Worked 14 years for a bank in Ada, developing the bank’s Money Management Center concept where clients were able to purchase annuities and mutual funds through a carefully structured regulatory arrangement.
In 1990, left employment of the bank as Executive Vice President to develop a third party marketing organization to work with smaller Oklahoma banks to help them replicate the Money Management Center concept. In 1994, focus of business efforts were redirected towards developing a local financial planning and investment advisory practice.
From 2000 to 2016, she worked with Hanson McClain Retirement Network, a company specializing in providing marketing opportunities for advisers seeking to serve telecommunications employees with their 401k and pension plans. In 2017 she joined LPL Financial, her current broker-dealer.
Husband Doug retired from East Central University Band Department in 2006. Daughter Melissa, a certified dietician, is married to Seth, associate pastor for Momentum Christian Church, and they live near Atlanta, GA with their two daughters and son, Ella, Moriah and Elijah. Son Bryan, pastor of Ames Baptist Church in Ames, OK, and his wife Whitney are the proud parents of three daughters, Harper, Henleigh and Hadlyn.
Doug and Patty were a part of a church plant ministry as one of 6 families that began a LifeChurch network church in Ada in 2006. Patty also facilitates women's bible studies in the community, and she and Doug share a great passion for Israel, having traveled there 10 times since 2006. She is always looking forward to the next opportunity to do so again!
